AUVA'A, Austin T. March 4, 1978 - September 22, 2016 Austin T. Auva'a died of a heart attack on September 22, 2016 in Santa Rosa, CA at the age of 38. He was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa on March 4, 1978. He was lovingly raised with his baby sister Melenaite Fineanganofo, Grandmother Ma'ata (D), mother, Violani (D), stepfather Tevita Fineanganofo, and many loving aunts and uncles, in East Palo Alto, CA. He graduated from Menlo Atherton High School in Atherton, CA in 1997 and soon after started his family in Santa Rosa, CA. He loved the Savior, Jesus Christ, his LDS faith, family, his cultures, sports, coaching his son's football team, supporting his daughter in her swim career, music, movies, watching Jeopardy, laughing and having fun. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Shana (Azarvand) Auva'a, and his four children: Violani (18), Austin Jr. (9), Reid (5) and Benson (2) whom he was very proud of and loved dearly. His presence and laughter will be missed by all. A viewing will be held 10:00 a.m. - 11:30: a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 5700 Country club Dr, Rohnert Park, CA 94928 with services to follow. Burial will follow at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95404 with reception/celebration of life to immediately follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1550 Northpoint Parkway, Santa Rosa, CA 95407.
