Les and Bernice came to visit us many times at our home in Phoenix and here in Paradise. They always brought laughter with them. Bernice taught me how to make a spaghetti sauce that tasted like hours had gone into the preparation but really only took a few minutes to create. She said she didn't know how to swim but after a few glasses of wine one evening she got in the pool in Phoenix and was swimming like a champ.
Bernice had an unconditional love for her family, she was your biggest defender and never failed to be there for you. I know what a big hole her departure will leave in your lives for she was irreplacable.
