I was stunned and saddened to hear the news of Blanca's passing. She was forever cheerful and encouraging back in the days on Missouri St. Her tireless commitment to students and families, as well as her success as an educator, are to be commended and long remembered. May God bless her family and friends, and may He continue her good works through those she inspired.

Don, Andres Anastacia and Ariana,

I was out of town and did not hear about Blanca in time to come to the service. I was very sorry to hear about her passing. Please know that I am thinking of you and praying for you all, that you will find comport some how in the beautiful memories you made together. She was the most generous (of herself) person I know.

Blanca made lasting contributions to Suisun City by investing in its children. She was a "can-do" person with a wonderful upbeat personality. For several years, Blanca and I worked together on the Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs Committee to help Solano County's children avoid chemical dependencies that too often prove ruinous. She was instrumental in getting the money needed to support this important program. Blanca will be missed by those that knew her well and those who knew of her through those she touched. She will be sincerely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I worked closely with Blanca these last four years. She put her all into her job and her family and saved very little for herself. She was passionate about providing her students with the best education possible. She never complained about the challenges that life brought her. She was always positive and cheerful. She was taken from us too soon but she is getting her rewards now in a better place.
