It is with deepest regrets that we announce the passing of our son Bruce Baker. He passed July 29, 2023, at his home in Windsor after a seven-year battle with the Benson Syndrome and Alzheimer's disease. Bruce was born in Sebastopol and never moved more than 12 miles from his place of birth. He graduated from Analy High School and later from the Sequoia Institute where he received certificates in Heating and Air Conditioning. He worked in the sheet metal business until becoming ill.

Bruce loved the outdoors with his friends including camping, fishing, boating, and water skiing. He also enjoyed off-road motorcycle and VW dune buggy riding. Bruce was blessed with above average mechanical ability. He could look at a mechanical problem and understand how it works, then fix it. He usually always had tools with him to do the job.

Bruce leaves behind his father Charles, mother Lois, brother Randy, aunt Barbara Gerhardt and a very large extended family. Bruce's ashes will be placed in the family crypt at the Santa Rosa Memorial Park with his immediate family in attendance.

A Celebration of Life is to be held in his honor at the Odd Fellows Lodge at McKinley and North Main Street, Sebastopol. Date to be announced.
