My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. I was in Ireland and learned of Bud's passing just last night.
It is with fondest of memories I harken back to my scouting days and remember all the time and effort the Bud and Bob Johnson put into training Troop 11 boy scouts to be good, productive and honorable citizens of the world. I especially recall the very special times that our Explorer Post had. Bud was a great example and mentor. You may recall our group was small but mighty and we often met in your kitchen to plan events and projects, . and enjoy the mouth-watering cookies and other goodies you prepared for us.
Thank you Bud! Thank you Melba.

Melba, I am so very sorry for you loss..I so remember the camping trip to Crescent City way back when..Was a great time.All the fun times over at your house, with all of you, when growing up..Wonderful times back then..Thank you.. My heartfelt Condolences to you....

Dear Melba, Sorry for the loss of such a loved one. You, Bud and my Mom and Dad had a lot of good times together. Now he can visit with Sumner and Shirley and have good laughs over past good times. I have thought of you and Bud often over the years. Always remember you are loved.

Bud was my Husband's Godfather & best friend with my Father in law. I looked forward to each football season, so I could bet on the Raiders with Bud and my Father in-law Gordon Johnsen. I lost many $2 bets to Bud over the years. Our friendship was filled with laughter. I have many "Bud" stories that will continue to make me smile.

bud you will be missed by many and i will miss the wonderful memorable phone calls i got from you on every holiday and i so loved talking with you and talking lots of memories about my dad with you loved you lots i know ill be and see you again some day
