Oh my... I haven't seen or talked to Dan since graduation from Epiphany, 1973. Danny was a kind soul. Sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers to you family Danny.

I just found out from Al Orengo that Dan had passed away. I was friends with Dan for many years but had only kept up with him through other friends.He worked for my company for a bit and he was with me at the Giant's World Series game in 1989 when the earthquake hit.Lot's of fond memories of many fun times in The City. My prayers go out to your entire family and I know that Dan is in a wonderful place with those who went before him and that the pain is gone for him but the wonderful memories will live with us until our time comes. God Bless You Dan Buddy ...Love Ya Man

Dear Walsh Family,
My thoughts & prayers are with you all.
Danny was a good friend & always kept in touch till the last few years.We last talked when he called & was sorry to hear of the passing of my Mother & wouldnt be able to attend...He had a heart of Gold.
We played so much baseball @ Balboa Park,Crocker-Amazon growing up,but as rivals,I went to St.Emydius,he Epiphany.He threw a couple of no-hitters & @ Riordan he led the WCAL one year in doubles!Not sure the number but over 20.
He'll always be the first baseman on my team.
I'm a better ballplayer because he helped me catch the ball,He could throw a curve,very hard to catch....then he could threw it 80+...I learned that day its easier to catch the 80+ one.
He was so proud to be "DannyBoy" & he wore it well.
He loved Naples St!He was a true Native San Franciscan+ & I will miss him Dearly...
