Dennis Leo VOSSEN M.D.

Dr. "Denny" Vossen passed away at age 63 on November 10, 2013. He died at home accompanied by his loving wife of 40 years, Deborah Vossen (Pulkrabek). Dr. Vossen is the son of Herman and Dorothy Vossen of Windom, MN, who preceded him in death along with his two sisters Jean and Mary. He is survived by his siblings John, Patricia, Joseph, and Paul. Denny was born January 14, 1950 in Windom, MN. He attended the University of Minnesota, and graduated from Medical School in 1977. From 1978 to 1984, Dr. Vossen served as a Family Physician with the National Health Services Corps in Happy Camp, Ca. Dennis and his wife moved to Sonoma County, CA in 1985, where he practiced Homeopathic Medicine and worked for North Bay Corporate Health until his retirement. Although, Dennis battled health problems stemming from a cancer diagnosis at age 18, it did not prevent him from enjoying a full life. Humor helped him persevere the physical difficulties, and his spirituality compelled him to not only alleviate his own suffering but also the suffering of others. We miss him very much. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Klopp Ranch.
