Donald F. Adams

ADAMS, Donald F. Died at his home in Kelseyville, CA, December 10, 2005. Devoted and loving husband of 62 years to Leah I. Adams of Kelseyville. Loving father of Steven Adams and his wife Barbara of Woodland and the late David Adams. Loving grandfather of Jeanne Kenyon and Mark Adams, all of Woodland. Loving great grandfather of Ashley Kenyon, Jenna Ciralo and John Adams. He was preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Ida Adams. A native of Petaluma, CA. Age 83 years. A member of Buckingham Golf and Country Club in Kelseyville. Don attended and graduated from St. Vincent's Elementary School and Petaluma High School. He later served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II. After his military obligation, he returned to Petaluma where he worked at the family owned "Adams Paper Box Factory". Later he co-owned Adams-Traba Lumber Company working for over 20 years. Don was an active sports enthusiast, participating in many sports and excelled in golf being the Petaluma Golf & Country Club and the Buckingham Golf & Country Club Champion 3 times. He had 3 "Holes in One, " during his golf career. Don will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend the Graveside Services, Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at CYPRESS HILL MEMORIAL PARK, 430 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma.
