McCABE, Douglas J. Died in Petaluma, CA; April 12, 2003 after a brief illness. Devoted husband of Rosemary McCabe of Petaluma. Loving father of Darrin McCabe and his wife Lauren and Teresa McCabe, all of Petaluma. Loving grandfather of Christina Cumberland of Petaluma. A native of San Francisco, CA. Age 62 years. A member of St. James Catholic Church, Sonoma County Board of Realtors, Petaluma Golf & Country Club, and the Petaluma Moose Lodge. Doug was born in San Francisco and reared and educated in San Mateo. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. Doug and his family moved to Petaluma in 1970. Since 1973, he has been a real estate broker and was presently working for Coldwell Banker. Friends and family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. from the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Magnolia Ave. and Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA; thence to St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA where at 11:00 a.m. a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. A Vigil Service will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Friends may call at the mortuary after 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
