Elizabeth Staehle Obituary
September 24, 1931 - March 26, 2023
Elizabeth Estelle (Ball) Staehle, age 91, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, surrounded by family she loved and who loved her. Elizabeth was married 73 years to Phillip Carroll Staehle, her partner in life and adventure.
She was born on September 24, 1931, in Ross, CA, to Elizabeth (Kenbrook) Ball and Irving T. Ball, and raised in Berkeley, CA.
Elizabeth shared her love of life with husband, Phillip Staehle, her children Ann Marguerite (Staehle) Nolasco, Thomas Frederick Staehle and Zoetta Staehle, Victoria Louise Staehle-Finke and Stephan Finke, and Phillip Charles Staehle and Melissa (Griffin) Staehle. She was beloved by her grandchildren Sara Davis, Beau Davis, Ellie Davis, Katie Davis, Lanie Lou Nolasco, Natasia (Staehle) Kamra, Gabriella Staehle, Anna Katharina Finke vonStaehle, Heather Staehle, Jennifer Staehle, Elizabeth (Staehle) Andersson, and Thomas Michael Staehle. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. Her vibrant energy and sound of her laughter will remain with us all forever.
Elizabeth was a talented artist who danced ballet, designed homes, created beautiful gardens and paintings, and loved travel. She worked diligently for several years doing charity work with the Children's Hospital in San Francisco Bay Area and Soroptimist Business Organization in County of Lake.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 17, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Elizabeth Staehle Arts Scholarship established at Lower Lake High School.

I have the fondest memories of going to Betsy and Phil´s farm and then that big Victorian style house and playing with all my cousins. Rest in peace Aunt Betsy.

Words come hard, but the tears flow. Loved this lady. To Phil and family, my heart breaks for you. Betsy was amazing. I will forever remember her laugh and smile, jokes, many fun times shared at Peach Tree, family gatherings, pool parties, birthday parties. She was family, and so very loved. Warmest hugs and prayers for healing. She will always be in the hearts of all who were privileged to have known her. Until we meet again. Cheers to a beautiful soul.
