April 11, 1927 - June 15, 2022
Gladys passed away peacefully in her home. She graduated Geyserville High School in 1946 and lived in Dry Creek Valley her entire life, where she was a pioneer woman in the prune and grape industries.
Gladys was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She was an excellent cook, offering food to all visitors. She spent her summer and fall seasons canning foods she grew and making pies for family and neighbors.
Gladys was preceded in death by her first husband Everett Wright in 1953, and her second husband James Boyd in 2020.

My memories of my Aunt Tootsie (that is what we called her), were only the best. I stayed with her and helped pick prunes one year. We had the best time visiting all of them. Jeannette and I (Betty) remember nothing but good times with them.
