Helene J. McConnell

Passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Santa Rosa at the age of 102 years. Beloved wife of the late Floyd W. McConnell, Lt. USNR, Ret.; loving mother of Sandra H. McConnell of Santa Rosa; beloved half-sister of Hildur Erikson of Norway; dear aunt of Ulla Stina Banis of Sweden and Bonnie Baker of Washington; and dear friend of Jeanne Whitwell of Santa Rosa. Helene was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Freya Sons, Lodge of Norway of Santa Rosa. A native of Saupsborg, Norway, she was a resident of Sonoma County for 60 years. For many years, she worked as a Psych Tech. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1300 St. Francis Road, Santa Rosa.
