I was lucky enough to meet Jade in the late 80's when we both briefly worked at the car wash together. She was one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. I remember her bright smile and positive attitude. I still think of her often, and was saddened to hear of her passing. I'm glad she had a family, and I know she must have been a wonderful wife and mother. I feel very fortunate to have had the chance to know her. I will remember Jade forever.

I know this comes very late, but I have been thinking of Jade for some reason tonight. I had not seen Jade in many years. I was an instructor at the Airport Club, and I met Jade there. She sometimes attended my classes, and I remember her as a smiling, friendly, beautiful young woman. We see someone suffering from cancer or any other debilitating illness and feel compassion and sorrow for that person and his/her family. Depression is a cruel, albeit hidden disease. As evidenced with the passing of Robin Williams, it can take anyone, even the person who seemingly has it all. God bless you Jade. My prayers are with your boys and your mom, with hopes that they will someday find peace, knowing that even if you cannot be with them in the physical sense, you will forever remain in their hearts.

I light this candle for Jade a woman whom Ive never met, but you have been on my mind almost every minute of each day since you've been gone.
I think of you and your boys and my heart breaks like you were my own family. I pray for your family's grief to be lifted so they can find peace and be able to accept life without you.
I pray for your soul to rest and be healed to shine again in another life.
Only time can ease the pain of this tragic loss to these boys that deserve their mother to be here. I will always think of them with compassion and love knowing their little hearts are broken forever. Jim and I had only met Jade a couple of times but always loved receiving the Christmas cards she sent. Looking at the cards it was easy to realize that Jade put her boys first. We love you Larry and our hearts are broken for you. Godspeed Jade!

Jade made me laugh every time we were together. We would trade stories about having so many boys, or laugh about something that one of them said or did. I just enjoyed talking to her. She smiled and laughed all the time. It was contagious. She was just easy to talk too. We lost a ray of sunshine...Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I didn't know Jade but have had many a sleepless nite. As a Santa Rosa Mom it just feels like we have one of the team. My heart breaks for her family. Now they have an angel. There are some things that happen that are beyond our understanding. Big love and prayers to the family.

Jade, you made me laugh!!! I'll always remember the time we worked together at Mike's and how much fun we had. That trip to Texas was the best! You must not have had any idea how much people loved you and the effect you had on them. You were a funny, sweet and inspiring girl and You will be missed by so many. I first met Jade while working at The Airport Club. I feel so blessed to have her as one of three fond friends I met there as co-workers. I cherish the sailing adventure with her and Mary and a few other memories. A beautiful gal inside and out. A loss to those of us on earth; a beautiful angel gained in heaven.
Bob grew up knowing the Dashiell family.
Together, we send our condolences to both families. May the boys find strength in her love and continued guidance.

Jade had an infectious smile and personality, as everyone that knew her would have to say. I have shared the story often of Jade and Larry on the snow slope, as she picked up my gear effortlessly after I plowed down the hill. She referred to me as a "yard sale" while I was laying face down in the snow. Then she gave me that smile, and be bopped on down the hill. I will never forget it. Jade, you will be missed.

Jade, i have always had a great respect for you with the way you raised your wonderful boys; they are so well-mannered and nice, it was such a joy to wait on them and you at the club. If everyone was like you on earth then it really would be 'heaven on earth'. your time here on earth was cut short and this makes me very sad as your presence on earth definately made 'our world' a better place. Thank you for giving us such wonderful boys with their great values; may they live their life in the manner you raised them, i pray that they always remember you with love, respect and follow through of the values you taught them as they grow up into 'fine men'. Jade was a fixture of my childhood. I could always rely on her for a good laugh. Learning of her passing was shocking and devastating. Kate and her boys are in my thoughts. The world lost an amazing person this week.

Kate, there are no words for the sorrow we feel for you and your grandsons. I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Jade. Her smile and larger-than-life personality are what I remember most about her. I'm sorry that she was in so much pain and felt she could not reach out. Jade.....it's had been over 20 years since Id seen you, and then it was death of your dad that brought us to see one another again!! You hadn't changed a bit. Still so beautiful, petite and a sweet sense of humor!! And your boys....what handsome young men. My kids enjoyed hanging with them....and l enjoyed seeing your mom. As I envied all you had done and were going to do...little did anyone know you were struggling inside!! I would like to reach out to Jades mother at this time. I have so many fond memories of sailing with Jade on the SF bay, driving through the redwoods in a rented convertible and breaking down, laughing until we pee'd our trousers from our bad karaoke, ...I will never forget the baby shower Jade through me at her house for my first child, Nicholas. She was so vivacious and giving. I saw Jade only 2 months ago after 17 years in MT. I am broken hearted that Jade couldnt envision a future for herself or know how much she is needed and loved by all she has touched. I remember Jade telling me her mother was her closest friend. These are all my recollections.I will continue to cherish them and many others. I will be at the service next week to celebrate the Jade I knew and loved.
Please stay strong. Her boys need you more than ever before. ?

I'm so sad to hear the news. Jade was such an amazing parent. I always felt out of the parents circle and she was the one parent who always included me and made me feel like I belonged.
