John Quinto Obituary
September 6, 1945 - August 31, 2025
John Quinto, 79, passed away August 31, 2025, after a very short but aggressive bout with cancer. Born in Plainfield, NJ, to Italian immigrants, he joined the Navy following high school and served on the admiral's ship in Vietnam. Following his discharge, he joined the IBEW Electrical Union where he continued as a member throughout his life.
He moved to California in 1976 with his family and made Sonoma County his home. He is survived by his sister, Jane, in Alpha, NJ; his two children, Ken (Valerie) and Charlene (Tom), in Santa Rosa, CA; his two grandchildren, Michael (Jaci) and Joey, in Austin, TX; and scores of family and friends near and far.
A visitation for his friends and family will be at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95405, on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. He will be laid to rest during a private burial ceremony with his family on Friday at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
