Mabel partied at my shower & danced at my wedding.

Mabel Louise, as quiet as a mouse, yet I believe she really ruled the roost! Always putting her family before herself and forever telling Jerry, "Now that's enough!" I can still hear her saying that. She loved her visits to the country, to see family, but most importantly, to inform everyone what a wonderful son she had. And for that, she was oh so proud.Mr. Adda was happy to demonstrate new toys and then let Jerry give the details...cars, CB's, cameras etc.. But Mable wanted everyone to hear her son play music. It appeared to me that it was her favorite joy in life. Mable, I will miss seeing you at holiday time, but I know you will be there with my Dad too!

My heart weeps with the family of Mabel L. Adda for she is the mother of Jerry Adda, my dearest love, and without her I would never have known the meaning of unconditional love. Mabel loved her family unconditionally and expressed her love to them through her never-ending devotion to their care and well-being. Like my mother, Mabel had a mother’s innate wisdom for knowing what actions would or would not be in a person’s best interest to do and thus felt it would be “best” for me to attend California State University, Sacramento. She was right, CSUS is the right choice for me, just as it was for her son Jerry, and I am sure Mabel was proud to know that I took her advice. I will always cherish Mabel's wisdom and value her unconditional love that still lives on in the heart and mind of her son Jerry. Mabel will be forever missed. My thoughts and prayers and the thoughts and prayers of my parents, my brother, my grandparents, and my aunts and uncles are with you all at this most difficult time.
