He was always a fixture in my family and is missed by all of them. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mikey's family and friends and I will miss Mikey but I will never forget him.

Mikey and I became friends in junior high school. He needed to copy a math assignment of mine and it took off from there. I could go on for days talking about our exploits. We shared a lot of good times and fun times. Although we lost a lot of contact since I moved from CA, he has always remained in my thoughts.

Mikey was the quintessential "debater." There always seemed to be some kind of debate going on constantly. As a football coach, I to this day reference Mikey when coaching players; he was undersized but being the son of a coach had a thorough understanding of the game and always played with a motor. And he easily was the best offensive center in Sonoma County in 1993.

I am grateful for all of the time I was able to spend with Mikey and his family. Honestly I am very shaken by these events. DW

To my friend Mikey. You will always be missed Mikey. From the first time I met you at football practice when I was 8 or 9 yrs old, to the last day I saw you. Mikey you always remained a true friend. In my mind will always be the great times we had together. The life long football practice conversation, the great sports debates, political debates, the football practice battles, the sporting events, the social events, everything.

Mikey you were truly a man before your time. A true renaissance man. Mikey I actually read books to this day because of you. Where ever you were a book wasn’t far away. Mikey you were a true class act. Your personality, your smile, even the way you glided when you walked.

I can go on reminiscing for hours and hours thinking about the time spent with and the effect that you had on my life. I knew in football if I had you around or next to me that I was going to be alright. Maybe your going to be an Angel now and watch my back from a better place. May God bless you! I pray that one day we will see each other again.

I will always remember going to watch Mikey play HS football when I was in town visiting my mom, and playing video games with him at my Uncle's apartment. We always both had a love for sports. I will miss him, I hope he is resting peacefully with my Uncle Mike. I hope everyone stays strong through this rough time, my thoughts are with my Aunt Donna and the rest of the family.

My memories of Mikey are of a young boy full of life and joy and a beautiful smile. I remember seeing him playing with his brother Matt and sister Kim. I am not sure who teased who the most. Mikey was a kind and loving person. I never met him without a smile and outreached arms to give me a hug.

I can only say to open your hearts so you can see the messages he sends you. He is with you in spirit and closer than you realize. We love you Mikey and you will never be forgotten. Send your family strength and love.
Mikey and Neil (my son) are forever together.
All my love, Arlene Britt
