Norman Stuart Obituary
November 24, 1944 - June 17, 2021
It is with great sadness Norman A. Stuart passed away on Thursday, June 17th, 2021, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Survived by sons Richard (Jay) and Bruce, grandchildren Hunter (Lauren) and Annie, brother and sister-in-law John and Mary Bruce, nieces and nephews Robert (Ida), Matthew (Nichol), Katie (Davin), and Megan (Sam) . Thank you to all who visited the hospital in the very short time we had. Norm went peacefully after a short-lived fight against aggressive cancer.
Norm was born in San Rafael Ca. November 24th, 1944 to Norman A Stuart and Fidarma Stuart. Norm lived his entire life in Marin and Sonoma County. Norm graduated from San Rafael High and attended SRJC and graduated from Sonoma State University after going into the Army. Norm married in July 1967 the love of his life Linda Stuart. Together they immediately moved to Ft. Carson, Colorado. Moved to Sonoma County in 1968 living in Santa Rosa. Norm started working at Fluor/Ecodyne in 1973. Leaving in 1993, he was a founding partner of Pacific Cooling Services, retiring in 2009 to spend more time with his trains and grandchildren.
Norm played Bass guitar in a band called 'Red Mountain Conspiracy' from 1972 - 1975, played at popular Sonoma County places such as Player Vic's, Poor Richard's, Roseland bowling alley and Pvt Party's.
Norm enjoyed traveling the world with his family and friends from Castles in Scotland, long boats in England, Tuk Tuk in Bangkok, to Bear Valley with his grandchildren. He was an avid movie buff.
Norm's Celebration of life will be held in his gardens that he tirelessly dug holes for at his home in Windsor on Saturday, July 17th.at 3:00 pm. Inquiries may be made to Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary for further details by visiting whcmortuary.com

We are sending our love & condolences to the entire Stuart family. Norm you are going to be missed by so many. We have had so many memories over the 50+ years that we have been friends. we have been through the good & the bad. You are now with the love of your life. Please give Linda a big hug for us. We know you are now enjoying your time with Linda, Grid & Sharon, Mike & Buzz. We will truly will miss you.
