Piper Kaye BERRUTO

BERRUTO, Piper Kaye (Canevari) Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family in Fuquay-Varina, NC on Sunday morning September 2, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was the loving wife of Jim Berruto, mother of their four children: Josh Berruto, Jamie Matthews, Jeremy Berruto and JoAnna Irvin, and was the proud "Mee-Maw" to her three precious granddaughters. Piper was a 1971 graduate of Montgomery High School, a graduate of Santa Rosa Jr College and attended Chico State University. Piper and her husband Jim were high school sweethearts and married shortly after college on July 12, 1975. Piper was known for her joyful and engaging personality, her encouraging words, and gracious smile. She was a classically trained pianist; home schooled their four children through High School, and worked with her husband as Assistant Pastors specializing in children, youth and music ministries for over 35 years in Santa Rosa, CA. The family is planning a Celebration of Life in Santa Rosa next summer, date and time to be announced.
