From our years at Maury to Military service and living on the east and west coast we remained friends that would be there for each other. We especially cherish our recent visit with you and Rick in Sacramento. Norine and daughters, we could see and feel the special bond that you all have and that will sustain you with your loss. We all cope with loss and grief in our own way. Wish we could be there with you all. Sending you our love and hugs

Rick was one of my first friend's in Lake County and he was always willing to go the extra mile for his customers. I will never forget hanging on his arm at the NRA dinner this last year and how much joy he always brought to the room when he walked in. I will greatly miss him.

Norine,
I'm really saddened to read about Rick's passing. He was my good buddy when I worked alongside him at PacBell when you folks lived in Fort Bragg. I could always depend on him to cover my backside to get the job done. When things got too stressful, he'd lean back in his office chair, light up his pipe and make some chuckling remark. Then you knew things were under control again. I will miss my email buddy. You and your family are in my prayers and may God bless you thru this difficult time.

I am so sorry to find out about Rick passing. I have admired and respected that man for many years. Rick was such a good person and so easy going. I loved hanging around in the shop from time to time making deals with him. He could negotiate with the best of them. Thanks Rick for the pleasure of having known you. God Bless.

O Nor and Family: From my family to yours. we are so saddened to lose our friend, Rick. We shared so many good times and laughter with our group. When Santa pulled up in his car sleigh one year, I will always remember that as well as all of the brunches we did with eachother. We love you, Norine and Rick will always be in our hearts and our mind with love and memories.

Cannot say enough about Smiling Rick.
After moving from Michigan not knowing a single person, Rick and Norine invited my family to join their family in a gracious dinner at their home. This was the start of a relationship we will never forget. From the many sessions sitting at the kitchen picnic tables to having that wine in the hot tub.
I will never forget the evening we were at his home bending a few elbows and out of the blue we said lets go on a cruise. Thirty minutes later we found neither one of us had a $100.00 in their check books but was determined we were going cruising. Six months later, we were on a cruise in the Caribean.
SMILING RICK----a father, a husband and the BEST FRIEND I ever had or will have! You will be greatly missed by all.

Rick was a good neighbor and friend.
When we moved to Petaluma, Rick walked across the street to introduce himself.
He made many more of those walks to help with a chore, share a beer and a talk or drag us to a party.
We missed him, Norine and the little girls when they moved away and we miss Rick even more now.

I was so sorry to see Richard had passed. It was my pleasure to take care of him while he was at Evergreen. He was such a kind, gentle man and he would make my day when he would greet me with "good morning sunshine". I am so sorry for your loss.

Knowing Rick was an honor and a pleasure. He was always smiling even if you got a "good" deal on the firearm you just purchased from him. If you ever needed anything, all you had to do is ask and he would be there to help. Christina and I send our prayers to his family.
