Rita Buckley Obituary

BUCKLEY, Rita Rose Past President and Treasurer of the Luther Burbank Ladies Guild, returned home on August 14, 2001. The beloved mother of Andrea, Lee and Nancy, is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason and Adam. Born in New York City, she moved to Southern California in 1952, and then, to Santa Rosa in 1976 to purchase the Santa Rosa Mazda/Jeep Dealership. A passionate Italian, who was always impeccably dressed, she loved Frank Sinatra, Joe Montana, cooking, dancing and flowers. She particularly loved her garden, especially the azaleas and maple trees. A loving mother and loyal friend, she will always be remembered for her hilarious sense of humor, and her compassion and concern for everyone who came within her circle. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, August 18, 2001 at 10:00AM at St. Eugene’s Cathedral, 2323 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa. Entombment, Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Evening services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2001 at 7:00PM at the DANIELS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES, 1225 Sonoma Ave., Santa Rosa. A visitation will be held at the DANIELS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES on Friday, August 17, 2001 between the hours of 9:00AM and 8:00PM.
