I met 'Big' Rob, you Chris, and my ex husband Eric Lillund all at the Burton house on June 21, 1986.
For the next 9yrs I spent a lot of time with Big Rob. He taught me how to make mashed potato's, was always making jokes, laughing, and yes he did have a kind heart. We never ran out of conversation, he loved my decorating :) He didn't love that we had no cable on the ranch and I can still hear him saying "I want my FUZZY TV"
From that first night I met him, to the last time I saw him in 1995, he was nothing but a kind hearted, funny guy that treated me like a friend / family.
I will always treasure the many, many fun and great memories I have of Big Rob and look forward to sharing them my photos, and videos of that time with his family.
You ALL are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult and sad time.

Rob was a good friend to my elderly dad for the last 10-15 years of my dad's (Alfred Marino) life. Rob visited when he came to Petaluma. He called him on the phone. And he wrote letters to him. Rob had a kind heart.
