With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Robin Joelle Conklin (Jatho). Robin passed away on June 16, 2024, unexpectedly in the hospital with her two children, close family, and friends by her side. Robin was a beloved mother and a great friend to many.
She was born on October 17, 1969, in Santa Rosa, CA. She was the youngest of 5 siblings and spent her formative years in Forestville, CA. Robin graduated from El Molino High School in 1987. She raised her family in her beautiful west Santa Rosa home that she owned and maintained for over 20 years.
Robin had a lengthy career in the banking industry as a mortgage loan officer. She worked at Redwood Credit Union as a highly regarded, top producing Senior Mortgage Loan Officer for over 15 years. She won countless awards over the span of her career including Top Loan Officer in Petaluma, service achievement awards, and many others. Robin helped many families and individuals in our community obtain the dream of home ownership. She will be dearly missed by her RCU family.
Robin cherished her children, friends, and family. She loved cooking, gardening, hiking, and was an avid 49ers fan. Robin took every opportunity to host a celebration with friends and family. She was a dedicated mother who was extremely close to her children and took pride in all their accomplishments. Her friends and family will miss her fiery spirit and think of her often.
Robin is survived by her children Jimmy and Amber Conklin, her former husband Sean Conklin, her mother Nancy Jatho, her sisters Cheri McCaffrey, Karen Canelis, and Jill Wessendorf, her brother, Glenn Jatho, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Edgar Jatho.
A Memorial Service will be held on July 12, 2024, at 11:00 am at Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home. Friends, family, and colleagues are warmly invited to attend the service, to honor her memory and pay their respects. A brief reception to follow to allow time to gather, share stories, and find comfort in each other's company.
