Ruby Torrens Obituary
Ruby Jo Torrens passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2021, a day after her 23rd birthday. She was born on September 5, 1998 in Petaluma, CA to Sonna Durham Torrens and Michael Allen Torrens. She attended Grass Valley and Petaluma schools, graduating from Casa Grande High School.
Ruby loved her family and extended family, adored all her cousins and all the family cats and dogs. She had a passion for doing hair and makeup for herself and others. She also loved singing and music of all kinds. She danced competitively with Suzanne's Dance School in Petaluma and played soccer with the Petaluma Youth League.
Recently, Ruby was looking forward to getting a new tattoo and becoming an aunt to her sister Tessa's new baby.
Ruby is survived by her family: mother, Sonna Joaquim (Joe), sister, Tessa Torrens Mackey (Mitchell), grandmother, Sandi Durham, grandfather, John Torrens (Bev), and numerous aunties and uncles and cousins – all very dear to her. She recently lost her beloved Grandma Jo (Joanne Torrens) and lost her beloved father (Michael Torrens) in 2014.
The family will celebrate Ruby's life at a private gathering for family and close friends.

I knew Ruby from Aurora Hospital. Met her in 2015. Always wondered why I hadn´t heard anything of her in so long. So sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful soul RIP
