In elementary school, Ryan always wore this giant Laker's jersey that probably belonged to Sean. He was ALWAYS goofing off, making people laugh even in high school. In all of the pictures I have of him, he isn't looking at the camera, and when he is, he's making a face and messing around. That's the kind of person Ryan was. At turnabout freshman year, only Ryan could make me laugh until I'd dance. You never think the sweet, sweet boy you used to play crossfire with is going to just be gone one day, especially so young. So many people were supposed to learn your name in life, and because of your kind heart, not this tragedy. We're keeping him alive, and we're living so much more for him. My heart is with your family, and you're in my prayers a you have to carry on without your sweet boy.

Rich and family I send my deepest sympathy to you all. Ryan was and is one of the sweetest persons that I have ever met. He and my son Chris met and began a friendship and that I truly am grateful for. I hope in time the pain will be less painful. Much love to you all.

My sweet boy Ryan....it has been almost 3 weeks and I still can't believe this is happening. I go look in your room each night, hoping I've been dreaming, and walk out in tears. You are son, my joy, my life, my love. I thank you for being such a light in my world, for sharing your heart with me, for turning to me when you were in need, and for being the perfect "mama's boy." You have left a legacy of love and acceptance of others behind you. Many a person could, and should, learn a valuable lesson from your ability to love unconditionally, to see the good in everyone, never pass judgement on another, and reach out when someone was in need. Please watch over us, help our hearts to enure, and be with us as we try to move forward to live the kind of life which would make you proud. I love you my baby...I miss you every moment of the day.
