William Livermore Obituary

LIVERMORE, William J. "Bill" Born September 12, 1912, came home to his Heavenly Father June 23, 2006. Beloved husband of the late Maxine Livermore; cherished father of Pattie Hensley and Kay Inglis, and father-in-law to Kray Hensley and Wally Inglis. Idolized grandfather to Ross and Andree Hensley, Daniel and Stephen Inglis and Katherine Inglis Ayau-Paulos, and great grandfather to Mikeana, Mia, and Micah. Bill is also survived by his special endearing friend, Ann McGuire. A native of Tiburon, CA, age 93 years. Bill entered financial banking in 1937. He was involved in several banking organizations including Bank of America, Chartered Bank of London, and Pacific Union Bank. He retired in 1983 as a Director, Vice President. He was an active member of Sequoah Country Club, Olympic Club, and the World Trade Club, and was also a member of the Board of Regents for the University of Santa Clara and Blue Cross of CA. Bill was an avid golfer and loved to travel. He enjoyed great cuisine, fine wine and an ice cold Martini. He was proud of his achievements and his hard work in establishing assets in the stock market, but most of all he loved to practice his gift for "joke telling", on all with whom he met. We will miss you and we cherish your determined spirit that will always stay within us. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass, Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Star of the Valley Catholic Church, 545 White Oak Dr., Santa Rosa, CA. Monsignor Gerard Fahey, officiating. Private inurnment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sutter VNA & Hospice, 1110 N. Dutton Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401. Family assisted by LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4321 Sonoma Hwy., Santa Rosa, CA.
