William Raymond "Bill" Weinmann

Entered into rest peacefully, in Santa Rosa, CA on November 15, 2008. "Bill" leaves behind his loving wife Norma Jean (Jeannie) of twenty-six years and a wonderful son, Brendon. He is also survived by his sister, Lizette Hackett and brothers, Robert and Brian. "Bill" is also survived by many loving brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, caring family members and friends. "Bill" a fifth generation Californian, was raised in Marin County by Robert and Martha Weinmann, later moving and living in British Columbia, eventually returning to Sonoma County. "Bill" was a gifted athlete, enjoying diving, baseball and swimming. His records still stand in swimming at the College of Marin. His handsome face, shining smile and infectious laugh will be missed till the end of time. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at St. Rose Catholic Church (398-10th Street, Santa Rosa, CA, 95401). Private inurnment. LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL (4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409) will provide visitation hours on Tuesday, November 18th, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service commencing at 7:00 p.m. in the main chapel.
