Albert Fiori Obituary

ALBERT PETER FIORI Peter was born in Westwood, New Jersey on June 26, 1921. He was the oldest of three children born to Pellegrine and Jaenne (Berthe) Fiori. He attended Selesian Prep School then joined the Navy in 1939, serving 7 years. He was one of the few remaining servicemen to survive Normandy. Upon leaving the service, he became a pilot. He flew private adventures and flew commercially as an Airline Captain for over 17 years. While he was flying, he became interested in designing and building diving chambers and bells. He formed Marine Dynamics Corporation and manufactured and sold diving and healing chambers throughout the country. His passion for healing the mind, body and spirit remained as he stayed very active on his company website communicating the benefits of hyperbaric medicine from his home office. He was a life time member of the Elks Club and a very generous supporter of numerous local children's charities. He is survived by his daughter Lisa and his grandsons Kevin and Kurtis Velarde of Palos Verdes; daughter Lorie and son Greg of San Diego; sister Raine of Coronado; brother Bill of Barego Springs and his partner of 27 years, Lois Sosbee of Temecula. He was preceded in death by his daughter Pam Krutsch of Ohio. Peter will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard at the Pavillion on Tuesday, December 9 @ 11:00 am. A private family reception will follow.
