Beverly Mae Sharkey

SHARKEY, BEVERLY MAE Passed away on January 29th, at home in the arms of her loved ones, after a long and courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Richmond Hill, N.Y. on August 16th, 1939, Bev graduated with honors from Hofstra University, and was a Special Education Teacher in Mission Viejo, CA. for many years. Bev was a devoted and loving wife, mother, nana and friend. She enjoyed tennis, golf, crocheting, and painting. An accomplished artist, Bev won awards in both water color and oil media. A memorial celebration will be held Sunday, Feb. 5th from 1-3 p.m. at Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont. Reception to follow from 3-5 p.m. at Sun Lakes Country Club, South Clubhouse, in Banning. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, Feb. 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Banning. Burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.
