I wish I would of knowing he passed away, I was 16 when he taught me to work on cars, and ride dirt bikes. I used to hang with him and bruce spires at the house in riverside. Rest in peace my friend.

"Dave" Bowen was a very special and close friend of mine. We shared alot of laughs and great times. He was a well liked man by many people. He loved to joke around alot. I remember him telling me the same jokes over and over and over as if it were the first time he was telling me. And everytime it seemed to get more funnier than the last time he told it. He made life more fun.
Everytime we crossed paths he always had a BIG hug for me and he would whisper in my ear, "I Love You Kris". Whenever he came by he always wanted my undivided attention, no matter what was happening. And I always seemed to set things aside for him, as he wished.
He was a very strong minded man. He knew what he wanted in life, and worked hard to get it. He always shed new light on me when it was needed. He was not a shy kinda guy in no way, shape, or form. He would always speak up when he felt it was necessary, and go out of his way to help others. He had a very BIG heart. He loved enjoying life, especially when it involved him having fun with his "toys".
He always spoke to me about his extended family, "The Swings". They were very special to him. Especially his best friend Gordon Jr. I'm quite sure he would want to thank him for the special friendship the two of them had. He was truly his best friend.
We will all miss you Dave,
We will never forget you!
My sincere condolences to his family.
