He gave the sweetest talk at my father's funeral service. I am forever made a better person for knowing this man. I met him 51 years ago, and for maany years of my life he was one of the father figures in my life. He was sweet, kind, and nobody truly knows the sacrifices he made for his fellow man. He was constantly serving others. I loved him like he was family to me. I know his wife and children will forever miss him. The world is not a better place without him--we need men like David.

This is a sad day in my life. I've known Dave for nearly 50 years. First as our Johns Manville physician and medical counselor and then begining as my personal physician in about 1963. Between he and Dave's very close friend, Dr. John Pritchard, there were many great moments. Dave was a "wild" guy in his moments of letting his hair down, and as a friend, would do anything for you. He was a briliant physician. Certainly, the pre 1990's Corona people will never forget his wonderful concern for the welfare of his community. Although we have been way from Corona for several years now, I will always remember Dave's smile, and unwavering concern for the health of his patients. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dave's family.

Dr. Dixon was a great man. He was my parents family doctor and delivered myself and 2 siblings. He was our family doctor growing up in Corona. I recall the time I went to see him when I was a young adult for a cough. I mentioned I was getting married and he offered to perform the service in his hot air balloon. I decided a hot air balloon was a bit much but accepted his offer to marry me. Not may people can say they have the same person on their birth certificate and marriage certificate! He eventually married my 2 siblings and my father!!
Dr. Dixon you will never be forgotten by the Maxell and Lloyd families

This is the kind of news that takes my breath away and knocks me to the floor! Dr. Dixon, who I affectionately called "David," was our family doctor for years and years. He made house calls when my sister and I were still at home, and he made house calls for my children, years later. He was not only a great doctor, he became a solid friend, over the years. He meant it when he told me to call him, ANYtime we needed him. There were some times that he would show up, in the middle of the night, and work his wonders for my children. Dr. Dixon put me and my outrageous sister "back together" dozens of times. I honestly felt that something was 'wrong' if I was not in David's office at least once a week having him sew an arm or a leg back on. He always, always had time for us, and delivered half our children. David was a generous man and was delightfully 'off the wall,' at times. This is a great loss, and I MUST tip my heart, hold my heart, and gives thanks that David was in my life and was so integral in bringing greater life to our growing family. Thanks, David. I'll catch up with you later.

Oh how Dr. Dave Dixon is, and will remain, a most special part of my life's memories. He was the doctor I chose for my personal physician when I was in my teens, I am age 61 now. He took care of me through my 3 pregnancies, he continued to treat my
children until they moved away.
Even after I moved, I continued to contact him for advice and he always was available for me. He gave me advice and a referral for my Dad when another facility had recommended an amputation for my Dad. Thanks to Dave Dixon, my Dad died with all his body parts. I worked for several years for Dr Dixon's very good friend, Attorney Thomas H. Ludlow, Jr. I know Dr Dixon cared very much about his friends health. Dr. Dave Dixon was a most honorable, giving man and caring doctor. My husband and I will always hold his memory close to our hearts, with a greatful spirit. I am thankful to have had him in my life. Cathy, I doube I'd you remember me, but I remember you and I think your son, Ian and our youngest daughter Tricia were born close together, 1983? Please know you are in our prayers. God Bless you and you'd whole family .... with Love from The Smith Family

If only more people could have known how wonderful this man was. I know he spread himself around so as many as possible could see how t live a courageous and generous and happy life. I loved him like an uncle since I was a child. He was a friend of my father, Erling Arend, and he gave me sage advice throughout my life. He was a member of the LDS Church and he had a sparkle about him. No doctor has ever been more generous with his abilities.
The world is a better place because he has been here. My love to you, Cathy, and all of his children and grandchildren. He was strong in the Gospel and will be waiting for you. We all know where he is now. Sincerely, Beki Arend Knott

My memories of Dr Dixon was him treating my spanish speaking mother with respect and being amazed that he spoke spanish. Him giving us shots when we were sick and he was always so happy. My condolences to Dr Dixon's family and friends. He was one of Corona's M.D's that many people remember before Corona's growth spurt.
