Our family has so many great memories of time spent with Doug and Beverly both on the East coast and in California. Your family is dear to us and you are in our thoughts and prayers!

My deepest symphany and prayers for the loss of Douglas. He was a wonderful cousin and cared for his family, always ready to lend a helping hand.My favorite memory was when he was in college at Keene, Texas he would visit our family in Nocona. One Thanksgiving he came and my brother Roger Doug And I visited that morning with his Aunt Minnie. She fixed a huge meal for us and we were stuffed. That afternoon we returned to my home and my mother and Aunt Emma Davis had spent all day cooking. We tried to eat again but just couldn't eat any more so we just kept asking to pass the olives. We did it so often Mom and Aunt Emma couldn't figure out what was wrong with the food.So never a Thanksgiving goes by that I don't think of Doug Jr. What a fun day we had that day. May God comfort you, He will be missed many Reva Barnett Cousin on Aunt Graces side

It was a pleasure meeting Doug, I was introduced to him when he came to visit my husband, a relative of Doug's, Roger Bond. We would sit and visit around the kitchen table where he and Roger would share some of life's experiences and family stories. Doug had a long, successful, happy life, a great man with a talent he shared with everyone when practicing his profession. Rest in peace and thanks for your service.
