Edna Clara Knoll Meairs

EDNA CLARA KNOLL MEAIRS 6/17/1914 - 12/28/11 Edna was a second generation Riversider. Born 6/17/1914. Graduated from Riverside Poly High in 1932. Graduated from RCC in 1934. She served in many community activities. Honorary member of Jr. League, Treasurer of Visiting Nurses Assoc. for 6 years, member of the Salvation Army Women's Aux, past member of Riv. Art Alliance, RCH Woman's Aux. and Charter member of RCH Founders Club, member of Victoria Club since 1942, resigned in 2009. Her hobbies were traveling with Ray, reading, the NY Times crossword puzzle and Bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Raymond C. Meairs in 1997. She is survived by a daughter Ann Leineberg; two grandchildren Nancy Leos and Danny Porter and 4 great-grandchildren; two nieces, Jennifer Neidens and Cheryl Templin.
