Lallie King Obituary

KING, LALLIE "MAE" of San Jacinto, CA passed away on 6/5/05 at 6:55PM at the Hemet Hospital. She was 91 years old. She was born in Pittsburg, Texas in 1913 and was married in 1932. She came to California from Texas in 1937 with her loving husband, R.D. She lived in San Jacinto for 68 years. She belonged to the Holy Rabeccas in San Jacinto and the Comfort Rabeccas of Hemet and became a lifetime member of 64 years. She was very active in the San Jacinto Senior Citizens Guild as a volunteer in the Senior Nutrition Program for 29 years. She and her husband were Volunteers of the Year for Riverside County in 1996. She loved to sew, cook and enjoyed country music. Mae & RD were exhibition square dancers and would perform all over Southern California. What is remembered and appreciated most is her love and devotion for her family. Her beloved daughter, Georgia Ann Skelton of Washington passed in 1999. She is survived by her Sister, Minnie Tate of Texas. Her sons, Bobby Dee King, and wife Winkie, of San Jacinto; Jesse Joe King and wife Linda of North Carolina; 13 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren and 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Viewing will be at the San Jacinto Miller Jones Mortuary on 7th & Pico on Thursday, June 9th from 3PM to 7PM. Graveside services will be held at the Hemet/San Jacinto Cemetery on Santa Fe & Menlo Ave. at 2PM Friday, June 10th.
