Dear Wachenheimer family...
Out of the blue, I remembered your family this morning as I was talking to my husband. Lee was a classmate of my brother, Bill Moffett. That prompted me to look online and I found this sad news that Lee passed away so young. My mother Marlene Moffett sang at Temple Beth El during High Holy Days and I believe she met your family that way. She used to give voice lessons to Suzy (?) who also had a beautiful voice. I remember as a teenager that our family was invited to your home to celebrate a night of Hanukkah. What an honor that was. It has stayed with me all these years. I remember Lee as such a lively and funny soul here on earth and I know he must be even more so in Heaven. My condolences to his family.

I re-posted this because apparently I failed to sign it.
Lee, I can't believe you are gone. We sure had fun back in the 1960s when we were in a band together! You on electric piano, me on drums, Rick Oneil on bass, Rick Meyers on guitar... Now you've gone to the great gig in the sky... You will be missed, Lee!!!

This is sad. Lee was a great, funny guy and had a spectacular voice. I often recall our choir director telling Lee to blend in with the rest of the choir. The problem was that Lee had such a distinctive voice that it stood out even when Lee sang softly.
