Mr. Neeb held a license to practice both Professional Civil Engineering and Land Surveying in California and Arizona, and was also a general engineering and building contractor (A&B) and a Safety Engineer in California. Neeb assisted in the creation of the design of the water system for Sun City, Ariz., and a stint as resident engineer for large water and sewer works in Flagstaff and Douglas, Ariz., and also worked for 33 years with the County of San Bernardino. Throughout his life, Neeb held many leadership positions for the California Society of Professional Engineers (CSPE) and the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), along with positions in the City of Grand Terrace Citizens on Patrol (COP) and has worked with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Academy. Neeb was also a founding member of the local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT); a lifetime member of the San Bernardino Shrine Club (SBSC) and the Elks Lodge, CSPE, NSPE, Al Malaikah Shriners, Thunderbird Chandler (Tempe) Masonic Lodge #15, San Bernardino York Rite, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonary, and a lifetime contributor to Shriners Hospitals for children. Mr. Neeb is survived by his beloved partner of 19 years, Patricia E. Smith; his loving daughter Kathleen Neeb; three grandchildren, Izaiah, Shane and Scott Edey; and his sister Rayma-Lew Craver. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Elks Lodge #836, 2055 Elks Drive San Bernardino Calif., 92404 at 2:00 p.m. The family is requesting that contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Los Angeles be made in lieu of flowers.
