MALCOLM RAYMOND GLENDENNING
(Ray) Glendenning, age 82, born March 16, 1934 (the day before St.Patricks day), went to be with the Lord February 12, 2017 in San Marcos, California. Ray Glendenning was born near Castledawson, Northern Ireland where he was a young boxer they called Big Ray (aka) Paddy Murphy.
He had 9 brothers and sisters. He left Northern Ireland in 1956 and went to Canada where he stayed until 1964. He then moved to California with his family in search of the California dream. He loved photography, to write poetry, and was quite musical. He had photos published in the paper along with his poetry. He loved his Irish heritage, his Irish roots, and his Irish country. Most of all he loved his family. He wanted nothing more than to be surrounded by his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. It always made him smile to see the Wee ones!

He was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed and loved. Until we meet again keep smiling down on us dad.( Erin go Bragh)
