It was only last night, November 16th, that we learned that Jane had passed away. The memories of working with Jane, and her giving, loving spirit that made her who she was, flooded over me. Through the years I had the blessing of working with Jane who was an amazingly talented women in spite of her loss of sight. She and Dr. Spear helped much in providing a Christian education for my five children, and I am sure also for many others, and for that their father and I will be forever grateful. Last night when we told our oldest autistic son, Perry, that Jane had died, he responded confidently, "I'm going to see her in heaven." And my husband, Mike, responded to him, "And she's going to see you!" What a reward for this devoted loving friend! Not only to be in heaven when Jesus calls her forth but to see Him face-to-face. We can't wait! There will be many stars in her crown. And, knowing Jane, she will share them with others.
