It was a hot dry summer July aftetnoon on a baseball field. At Queen of angels with the Santa ana winds blowing in from Right field straight across the plate., a young boy, comes to the plate with a pair of black Horn-rimmed glasses held together with a piece of adhesive tape on the center
bridge of the glasses. It was and for always will be Mikey the shark at the plate.

Dear Classmate from Queen of Angels Grade School and Notre Dame High School and friend Mike The Blue "Shark" Michael Joseph Mikolajczyk. You are gone, but never far from our hearts. Thank you for all the childhood friendship laughing good time memories. My heart goes out to brother Dennis and sister Debbie and all your family and friends. My deepest condolences.
