Muriel Schwartz Obituary
Muriel passed away on March 29, 2017. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on January 4, 1930, to Frances Simon Stoloff and Abraham Stoloff, both European immigrants. Muriel met her husband Abraham Schwartz in New York, and together they lived in several cities and states before settling in Riverside, CA. Muriel was an active member of many community organizations, proudly accepting a Woman of Distinction Award in 2010. Most will remember, though, her beautiful smile and amazing wit. Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Martin, and husband Abe. She leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. We will celebrate her life on Sunday, May 7, from 2 to 4 pm, at The Grove Care & Wellness, 3401 Lemon St., Riverside, CA 92501.

To Muriel's Family - I sent Muriel a Christmas card only to get it back. Then I tried her phone and it was disconnected which led me to search the web only to find out she passed away. This came as a shock. We were neighbors in Kalispell, Montana. Kept in touch for many years but had noticed she was struggling with memory when we last talked. Together in Kalispell we were part of a group that started a Farmer's Market which is now a landmark in Kalispell. She enjoyed our boys and always asked about them. I treasure a pillow made by her talented mother. My sincere sympathy. How she loved New York.

To Muriel's family,
My deepest condolences. Muriel and Abe were good friends of my father, William L. Johnson who passed away in 2014. My father spoke at Abe's funeral. We visited Abe and Muriel in Spokane, WA when I was a kid and I visited them both in Riverside, CA, too. They were very dear to my dad. I have good memories of spending time with them both. I'm so sorry for your loss. Muriel was a sweet and interesting person, always full of the joy of life when I saw her. May she rest in peace.

Dearest Muriel,
