Nancy Mumper Brown

1945 - 2022

November 11, 1945 - February 27, 2022 Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and loyal friend. Nancy passed away at the age of 76 on February 27, 2022. She was born on November 11, 1945, in Long Beach, CA to Charlotte Bohr and Arthur Mumper. She lived most of her life in Riverside. She graduated from Poly High School in 1963 and the University of Arizona in 1967. Nancy was a lifelong member of Kappa Alpha Theta. While there she met the love of her life, Bob Brown and were married in Newport Beach in the summer of 1970. Nancy was an elementary school teacher in Garden Grove, Phoenix and Riverside who loved working with young children. Later, she became a dedicated stay at home mom to Sara and Greg. A lover of travel to Newport Beach, Mammoth Lakes, the Central Coast, and several trips to Alaska. She was an avid tennis player most of her life and enjoyed water aerobics, as well. She loved reading, watching cooking shows and movies. Nancy enjoyed visiting the San Diego Zoo and never met a cat she didn't love. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Sara, son Greg, brother Greg (Lorie) Mumper plus numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at brother Greg's home: 5661 Riverside Avenue Riverside, CA at 12noon, March 12th. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Olivewood Memorial Park new mausoleum. Preston and Simons Mortuary
