Last night at the dinner table I was sharing stories about Paul and my Grandmother with my kids (Paul's Great-Grandchildren). They were amazed at what he had accomplished and was proud that he took such good care of my Grandmother (Marty). We had some giggle's of past stories. I told them that he always had grapefruit for breakfast and whenever I was a kid visiting, he always gave me grapefruit with sugar on it and cornflakes for breakfast. Kids eating grapefruit for breakfast......unheard of but at Grandmother's and Paul's house, I looked forward to it. I miss him and think of him all of the time. I love you! A big kiss and a hug to you Grandmother. xoxoxoxox

Christmas wreaths bedeck the front of
our home. Paul enjoyed putting up strings of lights, this is no longer done out of respect for Paul.
This holiday is the first Christmas since son-in-law Bob's death.
We have wonderful memories though.

Not long ago Paul and Marty hosted a dinner at Los Vaqueros in Hemet for Queen June Deatherage of the Daughters of the Nile.
Paul ordered a Tostado "El Grande". When this masterpiece was served I'll never forget the twinkle in Paul'a eye and the grin on his face. As far as I know, Paul and Marty ate Mexican food for three (3) days !!!

My condolences to Marty and the other family members. I only knew Paul through the Christmas newsletters he and Marty would send out. Even then, it was clear they had a great partnership and Paul had a great personality. Just recently at a Colonial Dames of the 17th Century meeting, we discussed the fact that we had not heard from them and hoped nothing was wrong. How very sad to learn the reason we had not received the Holiday communication. I do hope you are better , Marty, and continue to improve. Please know that all your fellow Dames in the Captain Nicholas Martiau Chapter, NSCDXVIIC send you our condolences and best wishes for a complete recovery.

It's so hard to believe that we've only known Paul & Marty since we moved next door 3 years ago. Paul will be missed-what a character he was! He made me laugh a lot! He truly loved "his half of our dog, Lulu". They are the best neighbors that we have ever had! I think Pat sums it up in that we truly feel like "Auxilliary Family members"! I think what God meant in the phrase "Love thy neighbor" is what we have been living for the past 3 years. Love, Seedorf Family (Including animals)

For us Paul Dale was a freespirit full of adventure. We fondly remember his love of boats... whether it was navigating his little run about or relating larger ship tales, Paul was a Captain. Memories of Paul and his love of Family, especialy Marty, will forever fill our hearts with joy.
May the winds of the universe always fill his sails with peace and love.

We are saddened by the lost of Paul. He will be missed by his wife my Grandmother and the entire family.
I have many memories of Paul, we use to share and talk about our love for Horses, Aviation and Cars. Katie and Lillian loved there last visit with Paul in Hemet, they followed him around the yard, then just sat and talked in the dining area and TV room.
Some of the mightiest men I have ever known in my life were soft spoken, kind and all carried a large stick when needed.
