Pauline Yoder Obituary

PAULINE MARCIA YODER Age 50, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2015. She was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica on Saturday, November 21, 1964 to Lloyd McDonald and Monette Thompson. Pauline adored her family. Her children were her most precious treasures. She was a popular substitute teacher in the Hemet Valley for 15 years where she subbed for all grades and all schools. She loved education and enjoyed the kids she taught. She would introduce them to "Yoderville", a name she coined for the room of the day she was subbing in and the fun and excitement she created. Pauline was a passionate traveler. Booking flights, cruises, hotels, and trips on her "points". She saw many continents and countries and would travel or stop anywhere there was a waterfall. For 20 years, Pauline and her family loved hosting foreign exchange students. So many cultures and countries were welcomed into the Yoder home. All of the kids became Pauline's adopted children with many returning several times to the fun and joy she exuded. Often she would plan trips to countries of these exchange students to see and live in their homes. Pauline loved to photograph her adventures. Any trip or excursion was a chance to take a picture. She wasn't shy about posing for her own picture. Pauline was also avid about social media, always posting on Facebook and Trip Advisor. Pauline was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd McDonald. She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Craig Yoder; her son, Tristan Yoder; her daughter, Mikayla Yoder; mother, Monette Thompson; brothers, Delroy, Patrick, Ray, and Tony; sisters, Beverly, Winsome, Carlene, and Michelle; cousins, Jennifer, Maureen, Jacqueline, Joyce, and so many more loving family members and dear friends. Funeral services are scheduled to be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Community Christian Church at 41762 Stetson Avenue, Hemet, CA 92544. Pauline loved life. She lived each day to the fullest. Always the loudest and most excited voice in the crowd. Her laughter was contagious. Her personality was larger than life. Pauline will be missed and loved by all who came into her circle. Entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary
