I worked with RC for years at RGH as a fire safety inspector for RFD. He was conscientious about fire safety, perceptible and a pleasure to work with. Enjoyed his sense of humor and his businesslike manners, too. I will always remember him.

I've only had the privilege to see RC a few times in his lifetime as a co-worker to his daughter Mary. But I can honestly and proudly say that he was a wonderful man. He loved to bake and he would send Mary with batches of cookies to share with all of us at work. Oh what a wonderful and delicious treat they were. He also sent homemade ice cream one day and it was so good. When they were in season he'd send us his beautiful eppyphillium flowers to put on our desk so that we could enjoy their beauty and vibrant colors. RC had extra tickets one day to see a play that was being performed at a center he was apart of. He had given them to Mary so that my sibling and I could see it. It was a mystery performance and it was wonderful. We enjoyed it immensely. RC was a truly giving man and he will be missed greatly. My heart goes out to my dear friend Mary and her brothers Don and Jeff and all of RC's family and friends. May you find peace in knowing that he is back in the arms of his beautiful wife Nancy, and all of his loved ones that have gone before him. May God bless you and comfort you in your time of sorrow.
