Thank you all for the truly kind remarks for my sister. Unfortunately I was out of the country for 6 years and only exchanged emails with Ruth during that time. I was honored to write this simple obituary for my dear sister. She is now blessed more than all of the living because of her faith.

Rest in Power Ruth. You were kind to me and I remember it though I had long left EDA in 12/2005. Sending my love to the heavens with you. Selina Davis (Jocelyn Hayes)

Ruth never let a time go by where she didn't check with you to see how you were doing. I'm going to miss her and the care she always took time to give.

I remember the first time I met Ruth. It was to pick up Sharon and take her to meet my parents. Ruth was waiting out side with her new dog, giving me a look of "who are you and what are you doing with my sister?" From that start, I learned to love her as a true woman of faith, and a caring sister-in-law. Looking forward to our reunion.
