SALLY RIVERA JACOBSON On July 2, 2016, after 31 years, Sally Rivera Jacobson went to be with her beloved husband Jim. Sally is survived by her daughter Cindy (Randy) Lytle; son Michael (Christine) Jacobson and grandsons Nathan, Nicholas, and Noah; son Steven Jacobson and grandson, Drake and her sister Mary (Frank) Negrete of Marietta, GA. She was predeceased by parents Crispin and Eleanor Rivera and brother, Philip. She leaves behind cousins Gloria (Rudy) Mejia, Bobby (Luisa) Esparza; aunt Antonia Ponce; cousins Patti Smith and Dean Ponce of Corona; aunt Candy Rivera and cousins Victor, Fred, and David Rivera of Pico Rivera. Also left behind are her best friends forever: Vera Flores, Hope Diaz, Rachel Contreras, Natalie Ruiz, Virginia Loza, Alice Montejano, and Mary Helen Gomez. Sally also leaves behind forever friend and travel buddy, Debra Scott of Marietta, GA. A lifelong resident of Corona, Sally was one of the first female reserve police officers on the Corona Police Department. Over the years she was involved in many civic activities, most recently as a member of the Joe Dominguez American Legion Auxiliary Unit 742. Funeral Mass on Tues., July 12 at 10:30AM with Rosary 9:30AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Corona. Burial to follow at Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery.
