Stephen Wayne Hyatt

1963 - 2021

November 12, 1963 - January 29, 2021 Stephen Wayne Hyatt, of Palmdale, CA, passed away after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Sumter, SC. Steve had a strong faith in God. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar with his life-long buddy, Jimmy Harrell, and listening to rock and country music. He was a very family-oriented man and a great friend to all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron, and his brother, Russell. He is survived by his son, Stephen Franklin Hyatt (Chris) and his half-sisters whom Steve saw as his own daughters; Kathy, Maria and Sylvia. He is also survived by his mother Marian Thompson (Bill) of Virginia and two sisters, Connie Seinturier (Frank) and Teresa Hyatt both of CA, as well as many loved nieces and nephews. Memorial Service to be announced at a later date due to the Covid-19 pandemic. His ashes will be laid to rest in Hopewell, VA.
