William Celaya Obituary

WILLIAM SIMON CELAYA 78, a life long resident of Corona, California, died August 23, 2010 in Corona, CA. He was born February 18, 1932 in Corona, CA, son of William and Viola Celaya. William proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. William and Joetta were happily married for 55 years. They never had any children of their own, but they both loved children very much! Children were so important to him that at the age of 30, William went back to college and got his Teaching Degree. William worked as a Teacher for 25 years, before retiring, resulting in him playing a large part in many children\'s lives!! He was known for his fantastic sense of humor! William is survived by his wife, Joetta (Treadaway) Celaya of Corona, CA; sister, Rose Marie Fiscus of Barstow, CA and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at Thomas Miller Mortuary on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 10:00am with Pastor J.T. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow service in Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery.
