Only God knows the number of steps we will take as we traverse this earthly life.
We are all but strangers here on this side of the curtain of Life - Heaven is our true home.
On behalf of the members and officers of the United States JCI Senate, we extend our heartfelt condolences on your loss.
No words can truly ease the pain nor can they fill the void of your loss. Only God's hand can offer that healing.
Know that your Senate Family prays for you and your family. We offer our shoulder and arms for comfort. We share your loss.

It was my privilege to work with this great and good man in the late 1980s at Woods Rogers. His towering intellect was coupled with incredible professionalism, kindness and dedication to excellence. Those who knew him will always remember him and strive to be the best we can be because of the fine example he set.

Mr. Poff's passing has devastated me. He was a dear sweet man who always showered me and my loved ones with kindness. Even in his darkest moments when he was a widower, he still found room in his heart to show sincere interest in my welfare. I'll miss him terribly, and I hope everyone shares their fond memories of him so that we can all celebrate his life.
Goodbye, Mr.Poff.
We will miss you!

I feel as if we've lost a member of our own family; Bill Poff befriended my father before I immigrated to the US. He and his wife, Mag, were warm, gracious, and genuinely concerned for others. He opened his home to stray cats, and gave financial assistance when needed. He and Mag were united in their generosity. We worried for Bill after Mag's death, but he was able to start a new and happy chapter in his life with Mrs. Cho. Bill gave so much to me in every conceivable way, and my wife and children will miss him very much.

"Bill Poff was a dear friend of mine for over four decades. He and Mag welcomed me to this country when I was starting a new life in a foreign land. I had always known him to be an honorable and generous person. What a place the world would be if all men shared his strength, intellect and grace. Bill was a gentleman in his personal life as well as his professional life, and my family will forever hold his memory in high regard. Rest in Peace, Bill."

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Being a legal assistant for 27 years, and knowing Mr. Poff in that capacity, the legal community will suffer a great loss, but is much better for having him in it.
My condolences,
