Al would always stop by the Tangiers motel when Bruce and I owned it. He was such a pleasant guy to talk to. He came by our cafe just to chat and talk old cars with Bruce. He will be missed. Love and prayers for his family. Arlene Smith

I met Al while working the car shows in and around the Wildwoods. He was always one of the first to show up and support. He´d even make multiple trips to bring a couple of his vehicles, and he was always happy to talk about the cars and let people have take a seat and picture. He was easy to talk to and had such a passion for the Wildwoods and the people in the community. Much love and peace to his family at this hard time. He was certainly a wonderful man and will be missed dearly.

Al was a true gentleman. He loved to share his knowledge and expertise on a vast number of subjects. Always willing to lend a helping hand in his community. A kind and gentle spirit that wanted the best for everyone around him - friend or stranger. A proud father and grandfather who took the opportunity to tell you a story or achievement of a family member. He celebrated the victories of others and never forgot to take the opportunity to ask about you and your family members with genuine curiosity and hope. A friendly face that provided encouragement to all. Al will be missed in the Wildwood community.

Uncle Alex, loved his family, friends and his dog. He had a genuine passion and love for the Wildwoods, far more than anyone that we ever came in contact with. He knew WildWood was special and a tourist destination. He was determined to make it a family place. He was sincere, intelligent, caring. His his honesty was real, He really did care about people.
He was a special Uncle and a friend that I was getting closer too.
I will really miss him. He looked after my sister when she was sick, He cared and visited my mother, (his sister). Making special trips each week. 2 hours each way just to see her. He would open up his garage spontaneously for visits when I would bring my brother Al to see it.
He was one of a kind top of the mountain.
Love, Barbara
