ANNA EMBURGIA

EMBURGIA, ANNA (NEE GULLO) 89 - of Vineland, passed away Sunday, August, 22, 2010, in the Millville Center, Millville. Born in Brooklyn New York to the late Federico and Rose (DeCarlo) Gullo, she was a long time area resident. In her younger years she was a Brownie leader, Cub Scout leader, a member of the Mothers Club of Maurice Fels School and the Woman's Club of Vineland. Anna enjoyed playing cards and entertaining her family and friends. She enjoyed her time working as a receptionist at her husband's dental practice in Vineland, but her biggest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by daughter, Josephine (JoAnn) Emburgia, Vineland, daughter, Diane Cast, Vineland, son and his wife, Sal and Jane Emburgia, Vineland, grandchildren, Michael Cast (Jennifer Kwiatkowski),Jason Emburgia, Stacy Cast (Anthony Fanucci) and Matthew and Joanna (DeSalvo) Emburgia. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years in 2000, Dr. Joseph A. Emburgia; her sister Lucy Iorio; brother Sal Gullo, and son-in-law, Michael J. Cast. A church visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26th, from 8:45am to 10:45 am followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 am from St. Isidore The Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland.
